Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan will continue its plan to establish the “Southern Sabah Industrial and Trade Centre” in Sipitang regardless of the Trans-Borneo high speed railway.

PETALING JAYA: The Brunei government says it has not offered or appointed any local or foreign company to undertake the Trans Borneo Railway project.

Kota Kinabalu: The proposed construction of a trans-Borneo railway project connecting Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Kalimantan in Indonesia will have an impact on Sipitang's economic growth, its assemblyman Datuk Dr. Yusof Yacob reportedly said.

Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan (Warisan) President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal hopes the route of the Trans Borneo Railway Project can be reassessed so that it involves a network of routes to the east coast of the State, especially Tawau.

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor said the proposed Trans Borneo Railway project linking Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Indonesian Kalimantan will be a boon to Borneo island if it becomes a reality.
